Great for beginners

This book is really great for beginners. Instead of taking a traditional approach for theoretical learning of a language, It takes a practical approach by introducing dialogues between 2 or more people and then going into the verbs and nouns and vocabulary introduced in that dialogue.
This gives enough confidence to start to speak after first few lessons.
Lessons are short and therefore motivates older learners to sit and go through the whole lesson without distraction or boredom.
Besides that cultural notes and pronunciation explanation helps understand the text better.

This product is very comprehensive in scope. You will not find a better product on the market than this one. This is the real deal: read, write, tune your ears with 40 dialogues, all the grammar-tenses & moods, and hundreds of vocabulary words. I had to buy a lot of different spanish learning products before I realized this product has it all.
If I were to choose between Mastering Spanish by Barrons or Ultimate Spanish by Living Language, my pick would be Ultimate Spanish because it is easier to follow and understand.

now I need to go shopping

I just finished this book and can not wait to try out some of the ideas in it, I had thought medical play was to advanced for me and this book def showed me some medically themed ideas I already use and made me feel comfortable to step it up. now to look at some of the suppliers listed in the back and go play doctor.

Good but Tiny!

While I really enjoyed this book, I have trouble feeling happy about almost $10 on something that took me about half an hour to read. The book is tiny and the print is a fairly big font, which left me flipping through it rather incredulously when it first arrived. I can safely say I would not have purchased it for this price if I'd known how little it contained. That said, the information it does contain is good, accurate, and interesting, so if you really want a pocket-sized guide on basic medical play, it would be a good choice.

Great book

I enjoyed this book thoroughly. Although not new to the medical fetish, Tempest's book is more in-depth than the shallow doctor-and-patient role-playing I have experienced so far. The information about setting up the scene and how to deal with a whiny submissive was very useful. Also, there was plenty of sound medical advice to help keep it safe, sane, and consensual. I only wish it had been longer!

Easy to read, step-by-step process

Graustein has broken the dissertation process into ten chapters, identified by action verbs: prepare, explore, read, design, propose, test, analyze, write, defend, and share. Each chapter includes what she sees as the core elements that are "interdependent and continuous throughout the process": topic, literature, assistance, data, written work,and organization. She has provided some case examples and graduate student survival tips in the chapters as well. I found her book to be well organized and easy to read, but perhaps a little dated in terms of technology.

In these 3 books the author discusses the advantages in binary options trading in the market place. The first book is a beginner's guide where he walks through the steps of basic trading. The other two books discuss the different strategies which are more advanced and have the potential of making more profits. He warns of pitfalls and mistakes to avoid. He also discloses that investors should be able to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of binary options trading. The writer has given a practical approach to binary options trading and he makes it easy to understand the intricacies of the subject he is dealing with. A very informative and readable book.

Blown away by the value of this set!

I got this set for the forex tips but got a whole lot more by learning binary options and some killer profit-building techniques through trading. I wish I can talk about the things I really liked but it would make the review super long. There is just so much to talk about and far too many books crammed in. I honestly find the set hard to read due to the number of pages. I worked around the issue by bookmarking the parts that mattered most to me. I didn't read everything but given the $1 price, it is impossible for me to really complain. I understand the set originally costs $4 and I think that's still cheap considering all the info here.

9. Jesus died, rose again, and ascended into heaven where he intercedes with the Father on your behalf. What is our response to Jesus? What claim does he have on your life? Have you ever asked him to forgive your sins and be Messiah and king of your life?

Product Review: The Christmas Story

Recently, I was asked by my pastor to be a Sunday School Teacher for our teens. I begin to search for content that will bring Scriptures to life for our teens. Although the teens have participated in our Christmas pageants, my goal is to develop a deeper understanding and relationship with God. Celebrating and understanding our Savior’s birth, builds upon the teens understanding the significance of His death and resurrection.

Rose Publishing has published a pamphlet entitled, “The Christmas Story.” This publication covers the Advent Season including the Advent of Hope, Advent of Peace, Advent of Joy, and Advent of Love. The pamphlet provides a recount of the anticipated Savior and the need for His arrival. It provides an overview of the celebratory and suggested sacred practices of the season including scriptural references and songs. Old and New Testaments Scriptures are emphasized to highlight the promise and fulfillment of prophesy.

I believe that Rose Publishing provides a good structure for recounting the greatest story of love, peace, joy, and hope while highlighting the prophesy in the Old Testament and revealing the fulfillment in the New Testament. This is a great read for teens and Adults. I would definitely recommend this pamphlet for small study groups and parents to teach their children about the true meaning of Christmas.

Some good information, but far too many mistakes

This is a collection of thoughts and theories on the development of Chinese that is, sadly, a collection of a few interesting points stuck in amongst several hundred pages of shoddy, inexpert research with a side helping of Chinese nationalism. Ms. Gu makes the fatal mistake of believing that her status as a native speaker somehow makes her more qualified than actual sinologists to write on Chinese, and it shows in the multitude of philological mistakes she makes (see p. 51 of the Kindle preview, where she takes "house" as the ancient meaning of fáng 房 "[side] room", when it is actually a later, secondary meaning, then conflates the "-zi" diminutive suffix that appeared in early medieval times with simple binomial combinations of ancient times). I nearly laughed out loud when I read in the Introduction that "a few American Sinologists write well, but their knowledge and comprehension of China are fragmentary."

It is true that there is currently a dearth of overviews of the Chinese language for non-experts, and this book does have some good, simple summarizations in it, but its many mistakes sabotage any usefulness.

This book came into existence because there did not seem to be any single book that would be adequate as a text for courses on hearing aids or that could advise practicing clinicians on all aspects of hearing aids.

I have aimed to make the book both practically useful and theoretically sound. Issues are explained rather then described. Wherever possible, practical recommendations are based on empirical research, and where there is no research to draw upon, the tentative nature of the recommendation or conclusion is indicated. Readers who already know the field well will notice that the book contains some data and clinical procedures that are published for the first time, as well as hopefully some new insights and perspectives into older issues.

The book is designed to be read on a number of levels. For readers who need only an overview of a topic, the synopsis at the beginning of each chapter should suffice. Most readers will hopefully be enticed to read further; the essential information on each topic is marked with a shaded bar in the margin. These marked paragraphs are designed to be read, and to be understandable, without the intervening paragraphs. I think of the marked material as a thin book buried inside this thick book. Some academic courses may wish to restrict themselves to just this material, which includes approximately half the book. The remaining material provides a greater level of detail. Finally, the most detailed comments are tucked away as footnotes and as sections in small print. Best investment I ever made

Anyone in the field of Audiology knows this book as The Bible. I bought it four years ago and I use it as a reference book constantly. Do yourself a favor and bind this book because it will get worn! It is a comprehensive guide to hearing aids and it explains most terms in a simple and understandable manner. Some concepts will not seem simple right away, but read explanations from anyone else, and you will realize that Dillon is a master at explaining very complex concepts. I have taken two hearing aid courses based solely on this book and I strongly recommend it to anyone in our field.

great book covering many aspects of hearing aids

I'm just an interested amateur, but this books covers lots of areas in some depth regarding the technology and fitting of hearing aids. It would be nice to see a little more mathematical/engineering approach, but this book seems to be aimed at audiologists, and is well suited for that use.

Helped me with Board Certification Test

This book isn't up to date per se (OTC's in particular), however, the basic information it contains is fantastic. I give credit to this textbook for helping me to pass the national exam for NBC-HIS, without which I feel I may have very likely failed. The book is thorough in its approach to hearing aids and contains a great amount of information that all hearing professionals need to know. I keep my copy in my library as a ready reference. The only reason that I do not give it five stars is that it is 10 years old. Apart from this, it is an excellant book to study and keep as a useful reference. I highly recommend it.

The Handbook is one of the practical tools developed by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime to support countries in the implementation of the rule of law and the development of criminal justice reform. It aims to assist countries in their efforts to develop effective systems of oversight and accountability within their law enforcement authorities and enhance police integrity. The issues addressed include enhancement of police integrity and the integrity of policing, dealing with complaints about policing (receipt, investigation and Follow-up), setting policing priorities and encouraging policy input, and inviting external review, including from independent actors.
